What Airport do I fly into?

The trip will start in Goa, India and end in New Dehli, India. You can either fly round trip to New Delhi, and purchase a one way ticket to Goa, where the trip will start, or fly directly to Goa, and depart India from New Delhi. 

The trip will start on December  28th in Goa, India and end on January 8th in New Delhi. 

What will be the weather in India?

We will be traveling to India in their winter season. Keep in mind it is still Asia, and it is still hot.  In Goa, where our trip will begin will be high 8s0s during the day and drop into the 70s at night. During our time in the Golden Trinagle it will be the most favorable time with temperatures in the high 60s and 70s. 

Do I need a Visa to travel to India?

Yes. All U.S. citizens need a valid passport and valid Indian visa to enter and exit India. You can obtain an E-Visa 30 days prior to your trip via the website listed below. We are happy to assist you in obtaining your visa. If you are not a U.S. citizen, then please make sure to check the visa requirements for your country. 


Do I need any special vaccinations or immunizations?

All travelers should be up to date on routine vaccinations while traveling to any destination. We recommend you speak to your doctor to make sure you are up to date on your vaccinations. You can also check the CDC Website listed below for what the recommended vaccinations are for India. 


Is it safe to travel to India?

India is generally safe for tourists, both male and female. We will be traveling in a large group with expert tour guides and professional drivers. We will be staying in safe and secure hotels with wifi, and all in major tourist cities. 

At what fitness level do I need to be to join this experience? 

The fitness level of this trip is considered moderate. Our activities will consist of open level yoga practices, and sightseeing to temples, forts, and other magnificent tourist destinations. All activities are optional and can be taken at your own pace.  

Do I need travel insurance?

Although not required, we strongly suggest that you purchase travel insurance for all WTA Experiences to cover you in case of any sickness, injuries or travel related delays. We recommend World Nomads Travel Insurance
